Bharatiya Film Industry has been the medium to influence crores of people in Bharat and also create an image about our country abroad. We have seen movies inspiring generations of people in the last one century of the existence of the industry. We realize the importance of this industry to have a great impact on the social fabric of the country.
Even though the film industry is a medium of entertainment, it is also a medium of influence. In this background it was felt that although there were a lot of programmes including entertainment nights, awards and other functions, a platform that would encourage debate and discussions on an intellectual level was missing.
Hence Cine Talkies was conceived. Cine Talkies is a symposium which acts as a thought exchange platform for the Bharatiya Film Industry. It is organized by Sanskar Bharti in association with various thought leaders, partners and associations. It is organized once in every two years in Mumbai. It serves as a national platform where illustrious dignitaries from all corners of Bharat come together to discuss, debate, deliberate and discover the various aspects of Cinema.
The Vichar Manthan serves to take our Cinema to the next level. Sanskar Bharti has always believed that Bharatiya Art is a strong weapon to showcase the soft power of our civilization, and Cinema is the most important medium to spread this across the globe.
